Celebrating new HSP graduates at Kannemeyer Primary School

20/05/2025

A big congratulations to the latest Home-School Partnerships (HSP) graduates at Kannemeyer Primary School! As a long-standing member of the Wordworks network, the school has been running the HSP programme for many years. It is inspiring to see them continue to recognise and support the vital role that parents play as their children’s first teachers.

The HSP programme provides a welcoming space for parents to share ideas and explore practical ways to strengthen children’s language, reading, and literacy skills from an early age. By empowering caregivers to take an active role in learning, the programme helps build confident, capable young learners and strengthens connections between schools and families.

At Wordworks, we know that strong parent involvement is key to children’s success. When caregivers are engaged, children develop a solid foundation in literacy and are better prepared to thrive academically. Initiatives like HSP bridge the gap between home and school, ensuring children receive consistent support and encouragement in both environments.
