These photos, taken during a Mellon Educate tutoring session, offer a wonderful glimpse into the energy and joy that fill the room. From shared laughter to meaningful moments, these sessions reflect the power of collaboration in building early literacy and language skills at home.

From parents and caregivers cutting and assembling a learning dice – one of the many interactive tools included in our TIME (Together in My Education) Programme – to taking part in engaging learning activities, the smiles on their faces say it all. There is pride, curiosity, and excitement in being part of their children’s learning journey.

The TIME programme is designed for parents, caregivers, and tutors of children in Grade R and Grade 1. It features carefully developed, CAPS-aligned activities that can be used at home or in after-school programmes to help build strong language and maths foundations.
