Little Stars portal (Sanlam WC 2026)

Welcome!

The Practitioners at ECD Centres selected to participate in the SANLAM Pre-Grade R project, will be trained, resourced and supported to use the Little Stars Pre-Grade R Home Language programme in their classrooms.

This online portal is where you will find guidance and all the information you need to complete your training and support your classroom implementation. Check in here regularly to ensure you are on track.

The portal sections are briefly explained below.

• The Introduction gives you information about the project, the classroom programme you will use in your classroom, and the practitioner training process.
• The Training Schedule provides a summary of all your responsibilities during 2026 – workshops to attend, lessons to teach, and assignments to submit. Consult this schedule regularly!
• The Training Resources include all the Little Stars songs which are provided to you in English and Afrikaans – download or play audio.
• The Workshops and Assignment requirements for the whole year are set out in five sections. Work through each section in order. You will complete all online requirements in these sections.
• Certification, celebration and the way forward as part of Wordworks programme network.
