Stellar portal (Sanlam EC 2026)

Welcome!

The teachers at schools selected to participate in the SANLAM Grade R project, will be trained, resourced and supported to use the Stellar Grade R Home Language programme in their classrooms.

This online portal is where you will find guidance and all the information you need to complete your training and qualify to be a Stellar teacher. Check in here regularly to ensure you are on track.

The portal sections are briefly explained below.

• The Introduction gives you information about the project, the classroom programme you will use in your classroom, and the teacher training process.
• The Training Schedule provides a summary of all your responsibilities during 2026 – workshops to attend, lessons to teach, a parent meeting to arrange, and assignments to submit. Consult this schedule regularly!
• The Training Resources include all the Stellar songs which are provided to you in all languages – download or play audio.
• The Workshops and Assignment requirements for the whole year are set out in 17 sections. Work through each section in order. You will complete all online requirements in these sections.
• Certification, celebration and the way forward as part of Wordworks programme network.
