Meet Siya, our newly appointed Communications Officer. Siya holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies. To sharpen her creative and digital skills, she completed an Honours Degree in Multimedia studies. Her passion lies in website and social media management, digital storytelling and pretty much everything online. She’s worked with various NGOs and is driven by her commitment to youth development and telling the stories of people who face discrimination due to disability, gender and sexual orientation. Siya brings heart and purpose to every project she joins.

We’re excited to welcome Siya to the Wordworks team and look forward to the creativity, heart, and insight she’ll bring to our work.

Over two decades, working with dedicated partners, Wordworks has impacted hundreds of thousands of children. This exciting new platform enables us to share our high-quality early literacy resources and courses with more families and educators.
